Oxegen Preview

From Friday, 9th July until Sunday, 11th July, the country's favourite music festival, Oxegen, will once again take place in Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co. Kildare.  With over 150 different artists playing over the weekend, it is bound to be another terrific occasion.  The line-up itself is enough to encourage you to buy your tickets.  Some of the world's best artists will be playing including, Eminem, Muse, The Prodigy, Florence and the Machine, Kasabian and The Black Eyed Peas.

However, those who have previously been to Oxegen will know that there's more to the festival than just the world famous artists performing.  There will be plenty of funfairs, a signing tent where you can see some of your favourite singers or bands, and there will be a lot of other marquees with special performances and music workshops.  On top of that there are always lots of merchandise stores and food stalls that sell everything from sushi to pizza or the traditional fish and chips.  So no matter what you like, there will definitely be something in the festival for you.

Three day tickets are available from under two hundred euro and there are also special deals for those wishing to camp.  For further information on tickets, travel and general news about the festival, visit the website at oxegen.ie
