Happy 80th Birthday!
Wednesday, 19th May marked the beginning of Br. Éamonn Davis SJ's eighty-first year on Earth. During his long time in the school, Br. Davis has been absolutely vital to both the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the Lifesaving Society. The Lourdes Pilgrimage simply would not be if not for him. .jpg)
At 80, he is still heavily involved in all of these Societies and the pilgrimage and is also First Year Chaplain. My own first experience with Br. Davis was in his office for my first chaplaincy meeting. I was still a nervous First Year but I felt at ease and welcomed there. To this day he looks after our newcomers, making sure they are settling in.
We at Belvedere Times want to wish Br. Davis a Happy Birthday and many happy, healthy years to come.
